Hi, my name is Peter and I am one of 5 partners at Bavarian Caps. My areas of responsibility are social media & customer support.

How do you explain what you do to your grandma?

Grandma, we make caps. Classic caps with edelweiss, sports caps with Pumuckl or caps in cooperation with breweries, sports clubs & artists. Always according to the motto: Wear your heart on your head! And because you're not finished wearing a cap, we also have stylish shirts, hoodies, sock boxes, lederhosen & co.

How did you come up with the idea?

Bavarian caps was a classic beer idea. Four friends were at the Wiesn in 2014, one of them - unlike usual - didn't have a cap on and was asked about it. But a cap doesn't go with traditional costume, does it? The first plans were made that very evening and six months later the first Edelweiss cap went online.

What anecdote do you like to tell about you and your team?

Our chief designer is colorblind.
