Kinostart: Poor Things
Emma Stone has just won a Golden Globe for her role as Bella Baxter in this film. The actress describes the movie as a rom-com, but not in the way some might think. She says: "Bella falls in love with life itself, rather than a person. And she accepts the good and the bad in equal measure." I've already seen the movie and loved it! What about you?
Kinostart: All of Us Strangers
Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal. That's all I need to say, isn't it? "All Of us Strangers" is a heartbreaking story about loss, grief and queer identity, love and life. Our tip: pack your tissues!
Kinostart: The Zone of Interest
After "Anatomy of a Fall", we can once again marvel at Sandra Hüller's brilliant acting performance in "The Zone of Interest"! 😍🎬
Kinostart: Dune: Part Two
"Dune: Part Two" is probably the most anticipated film of this year. After "Dune: Part 1" won six Oscars at the Academy Awards in 2022, a second part was a certainty. The star-studded sequel will be a visual feast that definitely needs to be experienced on the big screen! We are ready to marvel at Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Stellan Skarsgård and many more in action.
Kinostart: Challengers - Rivalen
This year we can look forward to two films with Zendaya! "Challengers" tells the story of Tashi Duncan (Zendaya). She is a former tennis player who became a coach due to an injury. A complicated love triangle develops between her, her husband Art Donaldson and his friend Patrick Zweig.
Kinostart: Alles steht Kopf 2
We are expecting an emotional adventure when Riley goes on a new journey through her emotional world as a teenager in "Everything is upside down 2". In June, Pixar presents a movie that young and old alike will love. Let's see what challenges of growing up the emotions in Riley's head have to face this time! Small spoiler: There are supposed to be 4 new emotions... Envy, Embarrassment, Doubt and Boredom.
Kinostart: Deadpool 3
Deadpool 3 not only sees the fourth wall-breaking anti-hero, played by Ryan Reynolds, return to the big screen, but also Hugh Jackman in his iconic role as Wolverine. Although Jackman actually celebrated his departure from the character of the comic book hero in 2017 with the film "Logan", there is a remarkable return in Deadpool 3. The extraordinary chemistry between the two actors is no longer a secret. The friendly love-hate relationship they have celebrated on their Instagram accounts for years is an entertaining testament to their dynamic relationship. This unique connection between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman not only promises rousing entertainment, but also makes the anticipation for Deadpool 3 all the greater.
Kinostart: Joker: Folie à Deux
We definitely won't miss this movie! The sequel to the film that finally earned Joaquin Phoenix his Oscar win in 2020 will be released in October. After her roles in "A Star Is Born" and "House of Gucci", we're looking forward to seeing even more of Lady Gaga's acting talent. The film promises an exciting movie experience not only for comic fans, but also for all other moviegoers.
Kinostart: Gladiator 2
24 years after the five-time Oscar-winning film "Gladiator" was released in cinemas, we can look forward to "Gladiator 2" this year. The question remains: Can the movie hold a candle to its predecessor? With a top-class cast, including Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington, expectations are definitely high!
