Hamburg's Theater Night 2024 is just around the corner, and it's going to be really special this year! The Theater Night is THE opportunity to experience Hamburg's theater scene in a single evening. Over 35 theaters open their doors and offer exclusive insights into the new season. And the best thing is: you can hop from stage to stage and simply leave if you don't like something. Sounds good? What you can expect
On September 14, 2024, Hamburg's theaters will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Theater Night - and you can be right in the middle of it! Over 200 program items offer everything your theatrical heart desires: you can see exclusive scenes from new productions, take backstage tours, chat with artists, take part in costume sales or even take part in workshops. The best thing about it? You're not tied to a seat - there are no long theater evenings. If you don't like something, just hop on the shuttle bus or take the train and explore the next theater.
New: The U30 ticket
If you're under 30, there's a special treat this year: the U30 ticket! At just 13 euros in advance (15 euros at the Box Office), you'll be 5 euros cheaper than everyone else. This means you can enjoy the evening to the full and go to as many theaters as you like. So, no reason to miss out on culture - especially because it's so easy to get a taste of the theater.
And it gets even better: until October 30, 2024, you can use the wristband to get a 20% discount on selected performances at participating theaters. Perfect for taking in even more theater highlights!

After an evening full of theater adventures, the night doesn't end just like that - the aftershow party starts at 11:30 pm in the Deutsches Schauspielhaus. Here, theater makers, actors and visitors celebrate together in the middle of the theater hall! First there's live music, then a DJ provides nice beats. Where there is usually theater, there will be dancing on this evening - and you can be there on the dance floor!
