The 1st Burlesque Festival Mainz celebrates not only the high art of seduction, but also diversity and body positivity. During the burlesque shows on Saturday and Sunday in the Alte Lokhalle Mainz, glamorous divas will shine alongside comedic birds of paradise. Experience all facets of burlesque: from cute to kinky, from weird to wonderful - "The Art of the Tease" has something for everyone.

Stroll through the festival market, take part in one of the many workshops and meet the performers at the after-show party.

We are extremely pleased to present the award-winning, uber-talented burlesque photographer Neil Nez Kendall as the festival's special guest.

Lord Mayor Nino Haase, patron of the festival, says: "The Burlesque Festival is a wonderful fit for our modern city: Burlesque is not just an art form that celebrates the beauty of the body.
