It all started with a dream. A dream that we can all relate to so well: To spend a year getting to know Australia in all its diversity and to feel true freedom to travel and stay wherever the wind blows.
Whether adventurous tracks or gigantic distances: The diversity of the Australian landscape, which can leave you almost speechless, compensated the two photographers, who also work with National Geographic and Stern magazine, for all their exertions: the mixture of aridity, salt and mineral resources creates landscapes of surreal beauty. Pink lakes next to azure seas beguile the senses just as much as narrow gorges, whose highly ferrous rock makes the landscape glow in the early and late sunlight. In Tasmania's rainforest, fluorescent mushrooms glimmer and on the coast, the water breaks in pitch-dark night in intense blue waves. Kangaroos on the beach in the south are replaced by crocodiles in the north.
The encounters with the Australians themselves were heart-warming: e.g. Mr. Campbell, who at his advanced age carries on the spirit of the Australian migrant worker, or Jeff, who gives a deep insight into the hardships of life on the isolated stations and the many Aboriginal communities fighting for equality in society.
Look forward to unique images from Down Under on a stage-wide 8 m screen combined with insider tips and exciting stories - experienced in a year of true freedom on the "Red Continent" of Australia with off-road vehicles, airplanes, diving equipment and hiking boots.
About Aneta and Dirk Bleyer:
As a photojournalist and travel storyteller, Dirk Bleyer has been presenting his multivisions for more than 20 years. Almost from the very beginning, his subtly humorous but profound shows have been awarded the coveted "Leicavision" award, which only ten speakers have received at the time. He also leads photo tours to Iceland, Germany and Venice and passes on his experience in numerous workshops and seminars.
He now also shares the stage with Aneta, who enriches the shows with her very personal view. Her empathetic multivisions are labeled "The Fine Art of Photography" - and that's a good description. After all, they are captivating chronicles of exciting journeys of discovery with the camera. Very personal and yet universal. Powerful images and impressions to remember.
