11 Walls | 11 Goals combines movement, art and activism into an inspiring overall experience that encourages us to stand up together for a better world - a world in which the creative energy of art and the transformative power of movement overcome boundaries and bring about change.
In Gelsenkirchen, we are delighted to be supported by Lemony Rug and Lucie Glang in this project:
Lemony Rug is the solo project of musician, singer and songwriter Léon Rudolf, who may also be known to some indie fans as the singer of the Hamburg band BILBAO. He is driven by the themes of his Generation Y. He effortlessly combines the pictorial narrative style of his idols with the international indie sound of today. Between refreshing arrangements and familiar guitar sounds, edgy indie rock merges with dreamy dream pop elements.
Lucie Glang combines folk-pop with Nordic influences and creates introspective, honest lyrics against a diverse musical background. Born in Germany, she has lived in various countries and explored music as a constant home and a way to find her way back to the here and now in a fast, noisy and electronic world.
