20 Years of Brasilikum Freiburg!! Latin and Samba Party
We’re throwing a huge Latin & Samba summer party on Saturday, July 25.

Featuring: food, drinks (including caipirinha, of course), face painting for kids, lots of hot rhythms, dancing, and a great atmosphere!
Samba, sun, and summer galore!

It all kicks off on Friday evening:
Starting at 6 p.m., we’ll be parading through the city as a walking act with our drums, spreading Brazilian joy. Join us and get in the groove for Saturday’s party! We’ll meet at the monument on Europaplatz.
Starting at 8:30 p.m., the fun continues at Eschholzpark with a dance workshop led by Gregorio for everyone. Learn some cool moves, dance freely, grab a drink, and get in the mood for Saturday with us!

Saturday kicks off with the big Walking Act through the Old Town.
We’ll meet at 2:30 p.m. at the Old Synagogue Square and march together in high samba spirits down Sedanstraße and across the Blue Bridge into Eschholzpark. Come join us and dance and groove to our drum rhythms!

The Maracatu group “Stern der Elbe” from Hamburg will be performing—with drums, dance, and amazing costumes.
The “Som do Brasil” choir will be singing.
“Los Guachos” will be performing—plugged cumbia, Latin, and ska
—and of course, we’ll be performing: Brasilikum!
