Charity concert

"I don't just want to be the man who presses the keys!" This credo of Igor Levit (Die Zeit) runs through the biography of the exceptional pianist, but certainly also applies to the many musical talents who, as scholarship holders at Live Music Now Hannover, bring their music to social institutions, to people whose lives are characterized by loneliness and illness. PRO MUSICA and the NDR Radiophilharmonie support this commitment through the benefit concerts that have now become a tradition. To mark the 20th anniversary of the association, selected LMN talents will perform works by Carl Maria von Weber, Ernest Chausson and Richard Wagner together with the NDR Radiophilharmonie. For the second part of the concert, LMN was able to win over its alumnus Igor Levit, who will perform Ludwig van Beethoven's Triple Concerto together with two other scholarship holders. All the works on this special evening will be performed under the direction of the young, multi-talented scholarship holder Mert Yalniz.
