Last year’s “Birthday Bash” celebrated “50 Years of MissVergnügen”; today we’re celebrating 20 years of MissVergnügen’s Wednesday nights! At Eschschloraque! Since 2006, she’s been livening up the middle of the week at the Künstlerclub with select guest DJs or concerts—in short: 
“Two decades of pure eclecticism—the hottest underground stuff, the wildest, most beautiful, and weirdest live acts in the world—combined with the best cocktails in town and the most authentic atmosphere! It all started as the Vendetta Sound System together with Coost Lardy Cake, who’s returning for the occasion—to the couch at Eschschloraque. Hopefully, if the weather gods are kind to us, she’ll be out in the courtyard so we can sip Cuba Libres under the open sky. As always, the musical lineup will be a journey through time, both in terms of the gems from the DJs’ bags and the live treats.”

Nostalgican also invites you on a journey through music history: “We’ll be playing nostalgic hits from the 20th century—from traditional jazz of the 1920s to rousing arrangements of retro classics, featuring a singing saw (Michael Quattlebaum), a guitar (Marian Theumer), and a whole range of percussion instruments (Patrick Flanagan). So hop on your high-wheel bike and join us on our clack-clacking journey through the ages, to a simpler era that may never have truly existed.”

From an era that may never have truly existed, through two decades of authentically eclectic DJ culture, all the way to Wednesday at the Eschschloraque—which definitely exists—this anniversary celebration is shaping up to be a real trip—full of fun. And we wouldn’t want to miss it!
