A true classic is back. The legendary Saloppe soapbox race is entering its 22nd round! On September 12, 2026, brave racers will once again have the opportunity to prove themselves on the dangerous slope of hell in Dresden and win the coveted "Prix de Saloppe"! The almost 1 kilometer long race track of the Prix de Saloppe stretches from the Sommerwirtschaft Saloppe to the Elbwiesen. The route allows spectators to be right up close to the action.

Holding back is not an option in this race - because whoever brakes first will be mocked by the pit ladies! So step on the gas and hit the track!

RENNHELDEN wanted !!! Bears witness to mobility !!! Shows technology !!! Shows nerves of steel !!! Witness speed !!!

On September 12, 2026, things will really get going.
And you can qualify for this major event. Daredevil inventors, hobby racers and tinkering geniuses are wanted to catapult themselves down the Elbe slope in front of a completely euphoric audience - on a safe track, of course, but still feeling tired of life.

Fear of heights? Forget it now, please!
The start is from a 3.5-meter ramp - perfect for looking out over thousands of fans who roar, clap and film as you plunge down the 800-meter track.

Hell of a ride towards the Elbe!
Chicanes, turns, tight corners, bumps: It's all there.
Steer and brake with skill and muscle power.
Broken axles? Only bad if it happens to your car - you can smile at the competition.

Killer style!
It's not just speed that counts here, but style too. Design award? Safe.
Anything that rolls without an engine is allowed - the main thing is to be loud, colorful, bold and unmistakable.
