The FAZ calls Markus Rill from Würzburg "Germany's, indeed Europe's, leading Americana musician". At Z87, Rill, Robert Oberbeck from Marburg and Maik Garthe from central Hesse - all seasoned songwriters, singers and guitarists - show where they draw their inspiration from.

They take the audience on a journey into the wide world of American singer-songwriters, starting with Robert Johnson and Woody Guthrie and moving on to the folk music of Bob Dylan and Jim Croce, the soul of Sam Cooke and Ben E. King and on to shirt-sleeved rockers such as Springsteen, Mellencamp, Tom Petty and Bob Seger. Oberbeck, Garthe and Rill will also interpret pieces by artists at the height of their creative powers, such as Gillian Welch and Jason Isbell.
The three artists have already thrilled audiences in the Würzburg area several times with their Bruce Springsteen evening, this time they will be presenting a wider-ranging program with the same joy of playing and musical skill.

Three guitars and three voices, just one evening, but a whole cornucopia of wonderful songs!
