Kino Zukunft: 2unbreakable - Breaking Goes Olympics Paris 2024

Joanna, "BGirl Joanna" and Serhat, "BBoy Said" share the same passion: Breaking. Breaking will celebrate its Olympic premiere in Paris in 2024. Joanna and Serhat are seizing the opportunity to make their art form more visible to society. At the same time, it is a challenge to do justice to breaking culture and the idea of performance in the Olympic system. Joanna and Serhat push themselves to their limits. To what extent do they manage not to lose their passion in the face of ever-increasing performance requirements?

Serhat has been a member of the "Sankofa" crew since 2008. Being able to live and dance freely is not something Serhat takes for granted. Serhat lives in Munich and was born there, but he is Uyghur. His family comes from the Xinjiang Autonomous Region in northwest China. They fled to Germany via Kazakhstan in 1995. Now being able to train with the German national squad for the Olympics means a lot to him and his family.

Joanna lives with her family in Dresden. Her boyfriend Felix, "BBoy Rossi", is a founding member of "The Saxonz." He brings his daughter Feenja into the relationship. As a result, Joanna has the responsibility of being a mother from an early age, as Feenja's biological mother has passed away. At the same time, Joanna is doing her master's degree in psychology. As a child of Bulgarian parents, she appreciates how much her parents have invested in a good education. Now Joanna is faced with the challenge of dividing her time between her family, her studies and her passion, breaking.
