Would you like to experience artistic work of a very special kind live? Then the creative format "2xGETANZT" is just right for you!
Here, two choreographers and two dancers each create their own choreography to the music of the Arcis Saxophone Quartet - independently of each other, in their own individual style. The additional challenge: there are a few "rules of the game" to follow!
The choreographers only have five days to develop a 20-minute choreography
The music is the same for both choreos
The musicians are part of the scene
Props and costumes must be found by the choreographers themselves
The two choreos are performed one after the other so that the audience can experience the artists' two creative productions in direct comparison.
In the discussion that takes place between the two performances, the audience will gain insights into the motivations and ideas behind the respective artistic decisions. In "2xGETANZT", inventiveness, dance and music come together to create an exciting symbiosis.
