3. Kirchplatzkonzert mit Marion und Sobo Band

Loose swing and jazz in up to eight languages combined with a lot of joy of playing and spontaneity can be heard from the Marion & Sobo Band at the 3rd Kirchplatzkonzert of the Kulturamt on July 2 from 6 p.m. - free and outside.
The French-Polish-German ensemble creates its own modern style of vocal jazz and combines it with global music and chanson. The French singer Marion Lenfant-Preus, the Polish guitarist "Sobo" (Alexander Sobocinski) and their band make music that transcends pigeonholes.

They explore the timbres of Western and Eastern Europe and use their international roots, their travels and their contact with different cultures as a source of inspiration.

The band demonstrates its individuality through its timeless yet contemporary sound, through its arrangements and original compositions, and also through the richly varied
voice of front woman Marion Lenfant-Preus.

The singer from Tours (France) presents her songs in up to eight different languages, accompanied on the rhythm guitar
and knows how to inspire the audience with improvised scat singing. The band's multi-faceted instrumentalists on solo guitar and double bass also provide a special sound.
Interaction with their fellow musicians on stage and with the audience is very important to the Bonn-based band.

The Cultural Office of the City of Bremerhaven is now reviving the very popular Kirchplatzkonzerte series for the fourth year. The concerts take place every second Tuesday evening at the Great Church. Free and outside.
