From May 5 to 10, 2026 , the Jewish Film Festival Berlin Brandenburg (JFBB) invites you to discover the diversity of Jewish perspectives in cinema. With 60 films from 22 countries, international guests and numerous talks, the festival presents a multi-layered panorama of Jewish history and the present.

The focus is on the competitions for feature films and documentaries, each with ten productions. The films range between different tones and perspectives. They tell of personal experiences and political realities, of current and historical events and their aftermath - and always find quiet, surprising and absurd moments of humor.

The JFBB takes place in the Berlin cinemas Filmkunst 66, Moviemento, Bundesplatz-Kino and Kino Krokodil as well as in Potsdam at the Thalia - Programmkino Babelsberg and the Filmmuseum Potsdam. The program is complemented by special events at the Jewish Museum Berlin, the Felleshus - Community House of the Nordic Embassies, the Jewish Community House Fasanenstraße and the Documentation Center Flight, Expulsion, Reconciliation, among others.
