35 Jahre local heroes: Jubiläumskonzert mit CARY + Raptiloiden + øne707
In the organizer's words:
35 years of local heroes, 35 years of newcomer power. We’re celebrating—and joining us will be acts from 35 years of newcomer history. Be there!
OnJuly 5, 2026,we’ll celebrate our anniversary at the TREFF Sociocultural Center in Schönebeck with both established and up-and-coming acts. Local newcomer øne707 will kick off the concert evening with his emotional hip-hop. Next, the alternative rap trio will bring the stage to life with their unique show. Headlining the event, Leipzig-based artist CARY will take you on a fascinating journey between hip-hop and alternative pop.
About CARY
Darkness. The lights come on. In the misty spotlight, you can make out the silhouette of a woman. Her hair is braided into Medusa-like plaits. She appears almost mystical and abstract on stage, while her songs could hardly be more intimate and personal. As raw as a fresh wound. And sometimes just as painful. CARY sings about depression, the rift with her family, and feeling lost in this world. Her voice: at times a hypnotic whisper, at others brimming with unbreakable strength.
In CARY’s music, there’s room for the dark sides of life. There, where only a little light breaks through the shadows, lie the stories that the Leipzig-based singer-songwriter tells in her tracks. Often resembling an intimate conversation or personal voice messages, CARY lends her voice to all those feelings for which we often lack the words—the ones that make us feel isolated as human beings. Sometimes helpless. Sometimes “Alone or Lonely.”
About Raptiloids
Sent to Earth with a clear mission, having broken out of Area 51, now on stage with power at the mic, appearing to save the day—and in human form: The Raptiloids. With painted claws and galactic flows, Yoshyh, Pytholatus, and Echso infiltrate a bubble they’d much rather not be a part of. The German rap scene desperately needs more substance, less sexism, less toxic masculinity, and more openness for everyone. The three lizard rappers were given no less a task before their journey to Earth, where they now—true to the motto “German rap must die”—penetrate every mindset on Spaceover beats.
The Raptiloid universe is all about wisdom and wordplay, which blend with techno, D&B, lo-fi, and punchlines to create a utopia. Everything—from the diverse ideas to the finished master—is self-made. On their journey, the Raptiloids have already performed with Mal Élevé, HeXer, the Guterzogenen Assis, and Ulepuschkinrose, leaving rap fans in awe—whether at the Campus Open Air Halle 2024, the Factory Magdeburg 2022, the be! Open Air 2024, or at numerous other festival and club shows—always left rap fans in awe.
But the band doesn’t just thrill its audience with its refreshing approach to writing lyrics and thinking about music in a multidimensional way (just as the three learned on their home planet, where music still exists and isn’t just about the charts), but they also deliver exciting electric guitar playing and an ironic yet gripping, high-energy live performance. With just their second performance, the rap crew advanced to the finals of the SWM Talent Booster 2022. The following year, they were already playing their first sold-out club shows and festival sets. Two things are clear: these three newcomers are far from done with their musical journey through the galaxy, and no one should miss a lizard rap show while the Raptiloids are still on planet Earth!
