3D-Druck-Special: JULIUS CLUB-Challenge

Under the motto“Your JULIUS, Your Idea,” the JULIUS CLUB is hosting a craft contest to celebrate its 20th anniversary. All libraries will design their own JULIUS. We’re swapping scissors for the nozzles of our 3D printer and want to print the Hanover JULIUS together with you! Instead of paper, we’ll just use computers and a mouse to design our contest figure together in Tinkercad. To start, we’ll get to know the software by going over the basics together. Afterward, you’ll work in small groups to design individual parts of the JULIUS figure. You decide what the final result will look like! Of course, we need you and your creativity to make this happen!

Important for parents to know: Ideal for children who are creative and enjoy technology. The noise level is fairly low, but the level of engagement is high; the children will learn a lot and design on their own using a laptop and mouse. Please let us know if your child has special needs. We’ll see how we can accommodate them.
