At the 4th Kirchplatzkonzert 2024 on July 16, 2024, the Cultural Office invites the most successful skiffle rock band in the north to the stage next to the Great Church.
At 19:30, the Sundown Skifflers will be playing in their home town - for free and outside.
The Sundown Skifflers from Bremerhaven have been presenting their washboard skiffle rock for 33 years, a mix of classic skiffle songs and well-known oldies, also in Low German, redefined with washboard, piano, guitar, electric bass and two top-class singers.

With their extraordinary performance and good humor, they sweep their audience away and spread an exuberant atmosphere both on and in front of the stage.
The Cultural Office of the City of Bremerhaven is now reviving the very popular Kirchplatzkonzerte series for the fourth year. The concerts take place every second Tuesday evening at the Great Church - free of charge and outside.
This event is funded by the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building as part of the "Sustainable inner cities and centers" program
