WORTHEBEWERK Poetry Slam on 24.01.2026 at Yahoo, in Waltrop

On 24.01.2026, the word will be raised again in Waltrop - city of ship lifts - from 20:00. At the WORTHEBEWERK Poetry Slam in the Yahoo cultural center on Hochstraße.

You can once again look forward to a top-class evening with premium artists. The line-up consists of Malte Küppers, Kim-Catrin, Peter Panisch, Johanna Bauer and Pierre Hoffmeister. Five exceptional talents who have mastered the alphabet so well that they use just 26 letters, a few umlauts and a small number of tiny characters to create texts that inspire, captivate, are hilarious and/or celebrate thoughts that have so much depth that ambitious buddies suspect coal at the end of the text. Fortunately, Waltrop is still part of the Ruhr region.

The event will be hosted by Waltrop poetry slammer Christian Hilgers. Tickets for a small €5 in advance and further information on the WORTHEBEWERK Poetry Slam can be found on the official website: www.worthebewerk.de. If the event is not sold out beforehand, tickets are available at the Box Office for €8.
