The Jenfeld Music Network invites you to the third Neighborhood Festival 48h Jenfeld: Free admission!

Experience 48 hours full of musical diversity in Jenfeld!
From Friday, August 30, 6 pm to Sunday, September 1, 6 pm, musicians from all cultures, genres and age groups will take over the stage.

For example

Together with drum circle facilitator Kemal Sanlitürk, we will kick off the festival with a rousing participatory drum circle at the Ladenzeile in Charlottenburger Straße. MATAiLO at Jenfeld-Haus, who is creating a whole new genre and calling his music "medical", will continue the healing process. Behind this is Luis, a gifted musician and filmmaker from Jenfeld.

Haspa im JEN even opens on Saturdays for JaKaNa's good-humored German pop. Just around the corner in the Gläserne Werkstatt, the young musician EMILIA will be making her debut and presenting her music for the first time outside her circle of family and friends.

If you want to dance to Colombian rhythms, come to the Jenfelder Au.Here, "Tambores del Diablo" bring lively cumbia sounds to the neighborhood.The youngest musician at the festival will be playing at the youth club in Rodigallee. At the age of 12, Nami45 has written his own lyrics under the direction of rap veteran Mr. Schnabel and performs them with impressive aplomb. An absolute insider tip!

There's also a lot going on opposite in the church: the congregation "Der Gute Hirte" presents choral music from the Kalinka choir, brass music from Billebläser e.V. and the latest rhymes from Burhan & ili os. The two rappers got to know each other at the Straso in Jenfeld, make music together and support each other in everything and know what they can learn from each other.

The festival weekend comes to a virtuoso close with a music and video installation by "Congee Rats". In this solo project by Jenfeld artist Dong Zhou, the songs are reflections on current social issues and, in particular, on the living conditions of marginalized groups. It is the music, the people and the places that make these 48 hours so special. 48 bands and ensembles play at 17 venues. The festival is planned throughout the year in public network meetings. A great deal of local knowledge flows together here, so that new ideas and contacts are constantly emerging.
