5. Koscheres Streetfood-Festival Berlin

In 2026, the Jewish Community of Berlin will once again present the diversity of Jewish culture and cuisine. The 5th Kosher Street Food Festival on June 21 in the courtyard of the New Synagogue on Oranienburger Straße will kick things off, followed by the 39th Jewish Culture Days Berlin in November, which will provide Berliners and their guests with a multifaceted picture of Jewish life.

The number of visitors and the culinary offerings continue to grow. More than 40 stands offer a variety of insights into Israeli / Mediterranean cuisine. "The kosher street food scene is constantly changing," says organizer Avi Toubiana. "Creative Israeli dishes that combine tradition with modern ideas are currently in demand - especially fusion cuisine, vegan options and reinterpreted classics."

Free admission remains unchanged, and the cultural program is diverse. Events such as a puppet show, pantomime, acrobatics, a puppet show and the species-appropriate petting zoo are aimed at young audiences. Other attractions include a comedy show, a magical duo, a jazz band, calligraphy, a caricaturist, chess, an observation tower, the Hertha BSC mascot and book and souvenir stands. Once again this year, great prizes can be found in the raffle pot.
