In the organizer's words:

Unguarded is a Berlin-based music and art label founded in 2020. The label promotes forward-thinking artists, emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and embarks on sonic adventures with them. With a collection of genre-crossing works by long-time collaborators and new artistic allies, Unguarded's releases consistently defy categorization - captivating and haunting, they roam through expansive, sonorous miasmas.

In a time of upheaval and accompanying uncertainty for music and artists, the label aims to keep personal and musical connections alive through shared individual and collective experiences - between hope, doom and music.

On January 16, 2026, Unguarded will kick off the new year with its fifth anniversary, which will be celebrated together with longtime collaborators and friends.

With a release spectrum ranging from club tracks and sound experiments to folk, Unguarded shapes and connects the experimental music scene inside and outside Berlin - and invites the curious to a deep, exciting but rewarding experience.
