667 – Tribute to Iron Maiden

667 - The Neighbor of the Beast

"... woe to you, oh earth and sea,..." - Hardly any other band in the history of British heavy metal has influenced this style of music as much as Iron Maiden. The band that became a living legend decades ago and is still bravely touring the world. With the band name "667 - The Neighbor of the Beast", inspired by one of their greatest hits, five musicians have come together to pay tribute to Iron Maiden. The aim is not so much to simply play the classics note-for-note, but rather to present the sound, stage presence and atmosphere as authentically as possible on stage. Starting with the original 80s Iron Maiden outfit, the amplification technology, the instruments, the stage set and even the obligatory appearance of the Iron Maiden mascot Eddie, the five musicians bring the Maiden feeling to the audience at every performance. 667 was founded back in 1998 and for several years now Kasten (bass), Felix (drums), Mächel (guitar), Günther (guitar) and the powerful-voiced Daniel have been performing throughout Germany and internationally, supporting Doro and AXXIS, among others, and playing festivals with bands such as Sodom, J.B.O., The Apocalyptic Riders, Manfred Mann's Earthband, Slade, The Sweet and many others.

Since 2008, 667 has also been an integral part of the Iron Maiden World Conventions taking place throughout Europe. Whether in a small club or at a big festival, 667 gives EVERYTHING in every location and always fascinates with commitment and unbridled enthusiasm! In addition to the already entertaining show, 667 offers its audience various "specials" and guest appearances by well-known fellow musicians whenever the opportunity arises. Paul DiAnno, Dennis Stratton (both Iron Maiden), Tobias Sammet (Avantasia), Luca Princiotta (Doro) and Jens Ludwig from EDGUY, among others, have already appeared on stage with 667. Jens says about his appearances with 667: "I've known and appreciated the band for years, but it wasn't until May 2010 that I had the opportunity to stand on stage with them when I stood in for guitarist Günni at a gig and shortly afterwards played a few songs as third guitarist at other shows. That was so much fun for both me and 667 that we've decided to do it again whenever my schedule allows. Even for a complete show from the intro to the encores! The guys are simply cool and immediately infect you with the fun they have!" There's probably not much more to add. 667 - The Neighbor of the Beast combines about a century of live and almost once around the globe "on-the-road" experience to an authentic Iron Maiden tribute show.
