Every year in May, the 7 Lakes Hike transforms Leipzig's Neuseenland region into a paradise for hiking fans. With over 70 very different tours, Saxony's largest hiking event offers something for everyone - whether it's a family outing, a relaxed pleasure hike or a sporty long-distance challenge. The two extreme routes "Neuseenland XXL" and "Dreiländerour XXL" are a particular highlight. Each 105 km long, they combine seven lakes and three federal states into a unique hiking adventure. From 8 to 10 May 2026, it will once again be three days of exercise, community and enjoyment of nature in one of the most exciting landscapes in Central Germany.
