Let's experience DEFA film history together on the big screen ! Between May 14 - 17 we will be showing six selected DEFA films.

Olli is worried, her report card is bad. Without further ado, she throws her satchel over the fence and runs away. Pinkus the dog, her friend, runs after her to prevent her from doing anything stupid. They meet Alexander the horse, who has already won a race and is very proud of it. He needs admirers and joins them. The three seek shelter from a storm and hide out in a windmill. Inside is a laboratory in which a professor is conducting experiments, while his crocodile Susi takes care of his physical well-being. Olli's curiosity leads to the windmill taking off into space like a rocket. Now they experience various adventures, landing on the Dream Star, the Button Star and a star inhabited by frog-like creatures. Here they receive a friendly welcome and are invited to a large banquet with singing and dancing. The professor manages to block the wind volcano that is endangering the star. The happiness of the little inhabitants shows Olli how wonderful it is to use knowledge for the benefit of others. So she happily returns to Earth and goes to school to become a volcano engineer.
