The Danish drummer Kresten Osgood is considered an icon of European jazz and improvised music - with over a hundred recordings and an impressive list of companions. Now, for the first time, two members of the hr-Bigband will join Kresten Os good on stage: Hans Glawischnig, part of the hr-Bigband since 2020, and Sebastian Scobel, the youngest member of the ensemble. To expand the trio, Scobel has invited two influential voices from the German jazz scene: Theresia Philipp, 2022 WDR Jazz Prize winner and Artistic Director of the Bundesjazzorchester, and Uli Kempendorff, one of the most distinctive voices on the Berlin scene.
