Groovy, rhythm-driven arrangements and soulful ballads from pop, jazz and world music are on the setlist of Bremen-based choir Groovit, spiced up with body percussion, always spirited, energetic and rousing. Gabi Hartung from Bremen founded the choir in March 2014, so now it's time for an anniversary concert. And for this, the Groovits are coming to the Schlachthof. It will be a musical look at the 10 Groovit years with songs from the first years, but also new arrangements, that's already been revealed.
It will be a great a cappella evening, as they have invited guests to join them for the anniversary: baff!, the young pop quartet consisting of Fine Reichert, Lilly Ketelsen, Jonathan Mummert and Maximilian Kleinert.
baff! amazes and surprises. baff! moves. baff! wants to think but also switch off. baff! makes music. Pop music. Music that doesn't let up. German lyrics, sophisticated but catchy arrangements and melodies, topical yet timeless themes. Sometimes fragile and tender. Then again powerful, profound, direct.
