Join us for a night of experimental and thought-provoking music and performance at Lettrétage. The program will feature elements of improvisation, composition, electronic and acoustic manipulation; a lecture performance, and video art. Drawing from various genres-ambient, techno, free improvisation, and pop-the performers will present their sonic explorations.

Not a duo. Not a thread - Jo & Bleedingblackwood are nothing but siblings in sound. This deep bond drives their rare performances, where musical realms collide and merge into one rich, fractured yet seamless sonic body.

Bleedingblackwood performs his atmospheric lo-fi pop hymns on stage, sometimes minimalistic, sometimes opulent. Being played in the dark with traditional instruments, or borrowed from the world and then transferred to the computer, his music and voice are always connected to nature, as they are to the mind.

Jo summons the Glasambel - her self-developed, ambivalent instrument - to distil a unique performance that explores the outer edges of sonic experience. In her music, Jo dives deep into the hidden and dirty sounds of everyday life, shaping them with sensitivity and weaving wayward patterns into her own sonic terrain.

Created with a combination of digital and traditional techniques, Anthony Kroytor's audiovisual work is a reflection on modernity using the language of remix and juxtaposition. His training in philosophy frames and structures his work, and its sonic and rhythmic elements are grounded in experimental synthesized music. He is particularly interested in the intersection and overlap of the human with the nonhuman, the impersonal.

Bandcamp

Kallie Lampel is an electroacoustic musician based in Berlin. His recent experiments focus on virtual modular synthesis as a means to produce musical environments, or even eco-systems. Recursive yet ever-evolving, Lampel's music often blurs the lines between melody, rhythm, and texture, resulting in something equally atmospheric and compositional.
