Forget everything you ever thought you knew about ballet and let yourself be seduced anew in "A Techno Ballet Odyssey"

Well-known Berlin techno DJs*, Belgrade techno DJ Marko Nastić & the Berlin Ballet Company collaborate in this techno party performance and rock the Kraftwerk together.

Start the evening with a pre-show party featuring well-known Berlin DJs*. Then experience a contemporary ballet performance about the journey of finding oneself through individual paths. The show takes place in the middle of the audience, fueled by DJ music on stage.

After the performance, the Kraftwerk will stay open for two hours and there will be live techno music, drinks, street food and of course dancing, so don't plan to go home too early ;)

Join us whenever you like and feel free to stay until midnight when the Tresor next door opens its doors. There is only one rule: don't stand still!

Which ballet will be performed?

The ballet performance of "A Techno Ballet Odyssey" is a piece choreographed especially for the evening. It is a modern yet classical ballet performance about the journey of self-discovery and finding one's own path. Unlike ballet, the performance takes place partly on stage and partly in the crowd. As a spectator, you have the unique opportunity to be right next to the dancers and experience the performance immersively.

Who is the Berlin Ballet Company?

The newly founded company is on a mission to inspire a wider audience for ballet. To achieve this, it mixes traditional with contemporary elements and innovative ideas and brings ballet from the opera house to new locations and contexts. Whether you are new to ballet or a ballet lover, the performances of the Berlin Ballet Company will impress you with fresh, exciting experiences and inspire you with the beauty of ballet.

Who dances the ballet performance?

There are eight dancers from the Berlin Ballet Company. After successful careers at major houses such as the Staatsballett Berlin, the Dresden Semperoper or the Stuttgart Ballet, they now bring their experience and passion to the new ballet concepts of the Berlin Ballet Company.

What kind of music will be played?

The dancing is exclusively to techno music. A Berlin DJ plays before the ballet performance. The ballet will be danced to the music of DJ Marko Nastic, who will also play live. You can get an impression of the type of techno in our trailer.

Will there be food?

Yes, in addition to drinks, there will also be delicious snacks that can be eaten in a separate area of the Kraftwerk.
