A-TRANE PRESENTS ARTIST IN RESIDENCE : DOMINIC MILLER

Start the year 2025 with a special musical highlight: Dominic Miller and his impressive band invite you to unforgettable live concerts on five consecutive evenings!

The focus of the program is Miller's latest album "Vagabond" (ecm records), which was recorded in the renowned studio La Buissonne in the south of France. It combines jazz, pop, acoustic folk, contemporary classical music and Latin American influences to create a completely new sound. The band will also interpret well-known pieces from Sting's repertoire in a jazz and folk style and improvise around these melodies.

Since the album "The Soul Cages" in 1991, Dominic Miller has been an indispensable musical partner at Sting's side. Together they have composed hits such as "Shape Of My Heart" and "La Belle Dame sans regrets". Miller last accompanied Sting on the successful Sting 3.0 Tour 2024 through Europe. New dates are already being planned for 2025. But Miller has also long since established himself as a solo artist and has released twelve acclaimed albums to date.

His performances are characterized by extraordinary guitar virtuosity and a fascinating mix of jazz and world music - an experience not to be missed.
