Abend² "50 Jahre Quadrat" - vielfältiges Programm im Museum

The Museumzentrum Quadrat is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a special themed evening: the "50 Years of the Quadrat" evening² will take place on Thursday, July 9, 2026. With extended opening hours until 8 pm and numerous free activities, the museum invites visitors to learn about the history of the building, contribute their own perspectives and experience art in an unusual way.

15.30-19.30 Art talks + collage workshop

In the Moderne Galerie, mediators are ready to answer your questions, easily recognizable by an orange lanyard. Share your observations and learn more about individual exhibits. In addition, collaged visions of the museum's future will be created: you are welcome to contribute your own ideas and wishes and make them visible to others.

3-7 p.m. Hands-on activity "red cola, brown red: making cola syrup together"

The artist Marie Donike will bring a wide variety of ingredients, also with a regional connection. While mixing and tasting together, the question arises: How do colors taste and how do our memories change in the process? This is an open offer - those interested can join or leave as they wish.
