Abschlusskonzert "5 Jahre - Kindermusikfestival-Münster 2026" // Karibuni, Cattu, Pindakaas Saxophon Quartett
In the organizer's words:
“Karibuni”—that means “welcome” in the East African language Kiswahili. That’s the name Josephine Kronfli and Pit Budde gave to the group with which they have been successfully performing world music for audiences of all ages for years. The children’s music festival they founded is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year, with concerts throughout the city and many wonderful birthday guests. Cattu the Dreamcatcher is making his way from Berlin to Münster. His songs tell of racing snails, pirates, knights, and other legendary figures from children’s dreams. For adult ears, the local Pindakaas Saxophone Quartet performs classical chamber music. They delight children’s ears with their imaginative musical theater pieces, which are no less virtuosic. And at the closing concert at the Theater im Pumpenhaus, Karibuni themselves will of course be on stage as well.
