Achtung Brigitte: Feministische Lesung & Musik

In the organizer's words:

"The biggest flaw in women is their lack of megalomania," said Irmtraud Morgner. To counteract this prejudice, the two Rosenheim natives Ricarda Krüger and Anna Grude claim to have created a reading of such force that it leaves the audience with blow-dried hair and wide-open eyes.

Texts by various authors about being a woman alternate with musical sabre-rattling - a declaration of war against all patriarchal and socially conformist norms. In their literary suitcase, 'Achtung Brigitte' have excerpts from works by local writer Miriam Pressler, Indian poet Rupi Kaur, French playwright Jean Anouilh and theater maker Felicia Zeller. A room-filling accordion and an irrepressible voice do the rest.
