In the organizer's words:

only connect! shows the bitterly evil and parable-like black comedy by A.T. Jensen (filmed in 2005 with Mads Mikkelsen and others)

The focus is on Pastor Ivan's rehabilitation program and the arrival of the neo-Nazi Adam, who involuntarily becomes part of his conversion to goodness. A former tennis star and a questionable doctor are also involved. The characters alternate between stupefaction and disillusionment at Ivan's seemingly unwavering understanding of his protégés' and his own misdeeds. Only one thing is certain, in the middle of nowhere in Denmark: an apple pie is to be baked, with Adam's apples from the garden.

In keeping with the seemingly absurd setting, the production asks: what does good and evil actually mean in the light of ambivalent morals in the political landscape and increasingly strong right-wing populist movements in Germany - can we still "forgive" each other these days and what - for God's (or the devil's) sake - does an apple pie have to do with it?
