Concert of the international L`Orchestra I Sedici

at the Ballhaus Wedding

For almost three decades, the string orchestra I SEDICI has stood for musical excellence, international diversity and passionate enthusiasm. Founded by Italian maestro Luigi Sagrestano, the ensemble brings together 16 top-class string players from up to six European nations, who incorporate their personal influences and musical backgrounds into a common sound. Under the direction of Romanian concertmaster Petru Lupan, this diversity results in a fascinating interplay - finely tuned, expressive and always at an artistic level. Each concert thus becomes an experience that not only conveys technical precision but also emotional depth.

The ensemble's current program combines works by Vivaldi, Corelli, Mozart, Sibelius and Dvorák- an afternoon at Ballhaus Wedding full of sound colors and musical encounters - carried by the idea that music knows no boundaries.
