The two artists manage to combine their respective art forms in a way that is both entertaining and deeply moving. This combination of music and literature makes the concert reading a special experience.

Aeham Ahmad has been living in Germany as a successful musician for several years now. In the Yarmouk refugee camp, he pushed his piano through the ruins on a board with wheels. He made it his mission to give hope with his playing. Here, too, he succeeds in bringing a smile to people's faces with his music. Sitting in front of the piano, he seems to pour his experiences and feelings into the keys. The boundaries between genres are broken down. When he starts his performance with Beethoven's "Freude schöner Götterfunken", then wanders through styles and eras and finally lets the melody "Die Gedanken sind frei" flow in, the audience joins in enthusiastically. He himself describes his style as a modern classic jazz mix or world music. The idea of being free accompanies him the whole time. This is the reason for the new book "Ankommen ...! - Wie schaffen wir das", which he wrote together with Andreas Lukas.

"Ankommen ...!? gives personal insights into life and everyday life with all its beautiful aspects and difficulties. Close to life, he tells his story and experiences in the new and unfamiliar culture and society. "It hasn't gotten any easier for any of us. Despite everything, I still want to find peace for myself and make a contribution to others with my music and my songs," says Aeham Ahmad. While writing, the authors realized that arriving is and will always be a year-long marathon for all of us. But it opens up many new paths, leads to new insights, friendships and experiences.
