Two of Berlin's most exciting artists you may never have heard of and a special guest play at the city's most underground venue that has managed to escape gentrification.

Ahabs Linkes Bein find lyrical expression for the contradictory impulses of your mind, for the longing for vastness, the gentle yearning for escalation and the quiet hope for a better tomorrow.
Two brothers with a penchant for clattering grooves and echoing walls of guitars meet a grumpy Ruhrpottjesus on double bass and a drum wizard from the southern states. Lyrics full of fine poetry - sometimes subliminally threatening, sometimes an open call for revolution - are brought to life with a mixture of concrete desert folk, seafaring blues and whale song.

CoppiCat lives, solders and makes music in Berlin. He has been observing the changes in the city since childhood. Sometimes more, sometimes less enthusiastically. When he was kicked out of his self-built studio and workshop in Coppistraße after 14 years because a dive store wanted the whole building for itself and the landlord gave in, he started his solo music project CoppiCat in 2019 and processed his anger at being kicked out in his songs. In 2022, he released his debut album "Widerstände". Genre: German-language indie. CoppiCat doesn't fool himself or others: He earns money as an electrical engineer in an audio technology company.

"Laut und Staub" is Berlin underground in action. High ceilings, old walls, industrial charm and DIY sophistication, fat sound and glistening light. It still exists here, the unpredictable, wild, beautiful Berlin of legends.
