AIKA is a music project from Jena, Germany, that was born out of our long friendship and mutual musical development. We have been experimenting with guitars, synths and digital sounds since our childhood. From these early moments, we formed our own style, which still lives from direct energy and emotional authenticity. We took our first steps under the name Aika Akakomowitsch, but with AIKA we have found a clearer identity without losing our roots.
Our music arises from intense feelings and observations - from euphoria and excessive demands, anger and hope, political alertness and personal vulnerability. Musically, we move between electropunk, rave, techno and punk rock. This mixture creates our sound: electro-rave-punk - danceable, raw, loud and melodic at the same time. Our songs can have edges; they should be powerful without being polished.
