As is well known, God created the earth. And a golem to do the housework. And the time for his geraniums to grow. And the universe? God's grandma created it, of course! Contrary to popular belief, Adam and Eve were not the first humans, but they were the first humans in a committed relationship.

The God comics by Berlin comic artist Aike Arndt are a collection of bizarre, thought-provoking and incredibly funny comic stories that captivate with their minimalist, extremely charming drawing style.

As part of the comic reading, Aike Arndt will present stories from all three God volumes "Die Zeit und Gott", "Das Nichts und Gott" and "Der Mensch und Gott" (Zwerchfell Verlag) as well as previously unpublished material.

After the comic reading and workshop discussion, we will open the comic exhibition at Café Barbakane with lots of God episodes and drawings by Aike Arndt.
