Everything that exists triggers something that follows.
Triggering means setting something in motion, setting something in motion.
What do the arts trigger? Do artists have any control over what their work triggers - individually and
in individual cases and as a result, for individuals and in a social context?
We ask them specifically about what they want to trigger - and
and trigger various artistic interventions.
The artistic interventions - reading, video, performance - and two-person discussions can be experienced alternately in a new setting.

An event in the context of "Resistance of Aesthetics"
At a time when the narrative modes of social media, short clips, fake news and AI are becoming a political power factor, a resistant, ultimately enlightening aesthetic is becoming a duty. However, it often unfolds its power precisely when it is not ostensibly political. How can resistance then succeed? The Akademie der Künste is dedicating a series of events to this question.
