Experience the Museum Knoblauchhaus as a festively decorated Christmas house of the Berlin Biedermeier period! A journey through time to the origins of today's Christmas traditions awaits you on three floors. The library and the cozy living room are particularly atmospheric, where old Christmas carols and stories can be heard accompanied by the festive scent of cinnamon and cookies.

Let yourself be enchanted by historical Christmas decorations and toys, displayed in lovingly designed showcases. A special Christmas audio guide will accompany you.

Sunday in the Nikolai Quarter

With this day of action, the Stadtmuseum Berlin is continuing the popular Museum Sunday, which unfortunately cannot be continued in 2025 due to cost-cutting measures by the Berlin Senate. Instead, on the first Sunday of the month, we are offering a special, wide-ranging program for everyone in our three museums in the Nikolai Quarter. Families in particular are cordially invited - Free admission for children and young people under the age of 18! So you can still look forward to great offers at the Ephraim-Palais Museum, the Nikolai Church Museum and the Knoblauchhaus Museum!

Even if admission can no longer be free for everyone, it will at least remain so for many: Our solidarity pricing model offers Free admission for adult visitors with proof of discount, including students, trainees, FSJ, FÖJ and BFD volunteers, severely disabled people, refugees, recipients of citizen's allowance or ALG I and many more. All others only pay the museum entrance fee and can benefit from our discounted combined ticket for all three museums. The extensive action day program is included in the price!
