Let's go to the "Sunday in the Nikolai Quarter"! A colorful program awaits you every 1st Sunday of the month. Free admission for anyone under the age of 18 or with a concession.
Find out how the Berlin merchant family Knoblauch lived here around two hundred years ago in an authentic location and in rooms furnished true to the original. The exhibition Berlin Life in the Biedermeier Era: Humboldt, Schinkel and the Knoblauch Family provides in-depth background information about the residents of the house, their famous guests and the era between the end of the Napoleonic Wars in 1815 and the revolutionary events of 1848. The special exhibition Relationships with the Family also offers surprising perspectives on the traditional family model in the past and present.
