Akzeptanzfestival

In the organizer's words:

The 2nd Acceptance Festival of the Einzelfallhilfe-Manufaktur e.V.

On May 10 and 11, 2025, the 2nd Acceptance Festival of Einzelfallhilfe Manufaktur will take place on the Waschhaus grounds in Potsdam, where people with and without disabilities will celebrate together, get into conversation in an informal atmosphere and dance together for inclusive coexistence. "Accessibility starts with free entry - this is the only way to give everyone the chance to take part," says Oliver Käding, Managing Director of Einzelfallhilfe-Manufaktur. The Acceptance Festival takes place on the occasion of the European Day of Protest for Equality of People with Disabilities and is the largest inclusive event in Potsdam and Brandenburg.

"Last year, we were able to celebrate inclusion in action with 9,000 people over two days. This year, we would like to inspire even more people to come," says Alexander Kolbe, Managing Director of Einzelfallhilfe-Manufaktur. A spectacular music and supporting program has been put together to appeal to all age groups. The line-up presents: MIA, Il Civetto, Nura, Umse, Mellow Mark, Kosmonovski, Sittin' Bull, Benjie, Poolhead, Die Muckemacher and Herr Jan und seine Superbänd.

With all the current cultural cutbacks, our acceptance festival with free admission is also a strong signal as a cultural initiative. In order to maintain this for Potsdam, we are calling on companies and citizens to get involved with donations for the acceptance festival.

In this year's supporting program, the Einzelfallhilfe-Manufaktur will focus on the topic of travel. The new travel offer from EfH-Freizeit will be presented at the Einzelfallhilfe-Manufaktur stand. There will also be a variety of activities for everyone. For the first time, the supporting program will include festival talks in which people with and without disabilities will talk about how they shape their paths, their personal careers, their travels and projects and also about how they live their everyday lives in a self-determined and free way. After all, self-determination and self-realization in everyday life and work are not just a privilege of people without disabilities, but are unconditionally available to all people.

This year, Einzelfallhilfe-Manufaktur is looking forward to planning its accessibility measures together with the Barrierebusters. As external consultants, the Barrierebusters have compiled a catalog with Einzelfallhilfe-Manufaktur and are providing advice on the topic of the guidance system on the festival grounds. The Barrierebusters will have a stand at the festival and will launch a survey on the topic of accessibility so that next year's acceptance festival can be even better.
