In the organizer's words:
Alela Diane is a Portland Oregon based singer-songwriter who grew up in the winding rivers and golden hillsides of Nevada City California. As a girl she listened to her parents harmonize bluegrass songs in the kitchen and began writing her own folky songs when she moved to San Francisco at age 19. Alela has been releasing albums since her move to the NW in the mid 2000s and has toured extensively through Europe and North America. A newly released single Howling Wind was written for the heavy times we’ve been living through these past few years. Keep your ear to the ground for Alela’s next album.
