Alex Baczynski-Jenkins ›Neue Arbeit‹

In his choreographic works,Alex Baczynski-Jenkins explores queer affects, embodiment and constantly changing networks of relationships. His pieces are created in dialogical exchange: gestures and touches make subtle nuances of mutual dependence and alienation just as tangible as different forms of desire.

In his new, as yet untitled work, Baczynski-Jenkins develops a choreography of intensity: elation, horror and desire flow through the performers and combine the different forms of expression into a dizzying dance.

Early boarding is offered to the audience for the performances. This refers to advance admission to the stage area. The offer is aimed at people who need to experience the conditions of the venue in advance and find a suitable seat in relation to their own needs. With this offer, we want to address, for example, autistic people, neurodivergent people, wheelchair users or people with other mobility impairments.
