Alex Stolze feat. Ben Osborn - modern classical / electronic

Composer and violinist Alex Stolze combines contemporary classical music, experimental pop and delicate electronics to create a highly sensitive, unique sound language. With his releases on Neue Meister - most recently the finely crafted Raash ve Ruach, which combines urban impulses with meditative clarity and reduced violin compositions - Stolze has further deepened his characteristic aesthetic. His work with Bodi Bill and Dictaphone, in which his combination of acoustic virtuosity and electronic sensitivity became apparent early on, was also formative. For this concert, he will be joined by pianist Ben Osborn, whose lyrical expression and precisely placed synthesizer textures lend the live performance a special depth. The two artists have a long-standing friendship and creative partnership that unfolds in an atmospheric sound space between modern chamber music, poetic electronics and introspective minimalism.
