Alexis Taylor

Alexis Taylor is one of the most influential figures in British electropop of the last 25 years. With each solo release away from Hot Chip, he has moved effortlessly between intimate recitation music ("Piano" from 2016), improvised music with About Group, avant-garde electronica pop ("Beautiful Thing" from 2018) and chamber pop ("Silence" from 2021). Even today, he is as relevant as ever - he has just celebrated 25 years of Hot Chip. Alongside these milestones, Taylor continues to be a prolific producer, remixer and collaborator. This year he has featured on key releases from HAAi and Superpitcher, remixed Paul Weller and worked with
French Touch pioneer Fred Falke and Zen Freeman (Ampersounds). As an unmistakable voice, he has built up a considerable solo repertoire over the years.

His most recent solo album "Paris In The Spring" is considered by many to be the highlight of his work for the time being.
a work that combines retrospection and new beginnings, intimacy and expansiveness, tradition and experimentation. As part of his eponymous Paris In The Spring Tour, Alexis Taylor is coming to Berlin for his only German concert at the Privatclub.
