Dive into the world of alfajores—arguably Argentina’s sweetest tradition. Under professional guidance, you’ll create your own handmade alfajores, filled with deliciousdulce de leche, coated in the finest chocolate, and decorated with your personal touch. Along the way, discover fascinating stories about Argentine culture and the diversity of rainforest cacao. Let your creativity run wild and take home eight little masterpieces in an elegant gift box. ¡Vamos a divertirnos!
Workshop Schedule:
- Welcome: A traditional mate cocido or another beverage as a welcome treat
- Introduction to the world of rainforest cocoa: A short presentation on sustainable chocolate and the importance of rainforest cocoa
- Journey to Argentina: Interesting facts about alfajores—their origins, variations, and recipes, accompanied by photos from our travels
- Making the Alfajores: Santi will demonstrate how to temper chocolate and what to keep in mind. Afterward, you’ll get to roll up your sleeves and make eight alfajores yourself. You can choose from various fillings, toppings, and edible flowers, as well as dark or white chocolate, so let your imagination run wild!
- Packaging: You’ll get to pack your alfajores in a stylish gift box, ready to give as a present—or to enjoy yourself!
Price information:
Included are a welcome drink, snacks, and eight homemade alfajores—plus plenty of insights into sustainability and a mental journey to Argentina. You’re also welcome to give our alfajores workshop as a gift to your loved ones! You can pick up gift certificates for this at our store. Alternatively, we’d be happy to mail them to you.
