It was not until a hundred years after the composer's death that Robert Schumann's Third Violin Sonata of 1853 appeared in print for the first time. Alina Ibragimova and Cédric Tiberghien - regular guests at the Pierre Boulez Saal not only as a duo - interpret the long-forgotten work and the Second Sonata written a few years earlier together with music by Anton Webern and Arvo Pärt.
