They played their debut evening over three hundred times. Standing ovations. All over Germany. They played, danced and sang their hearts out. They have brainwashed themselves and learned to accept their age.
But ALTE MÄDCHEN are in a deep dilemma: both are absolute alpha animals. And each wants to be the boss. But how do you fight for this coveted position? With the woman's weapons? And what are they? The tried and tested passive-aggressive method? Stonewalling, bullying, teasing, disappearing? Totally outdated. Or, man-style, just make an announcement? And what if the whole power thing ended up being completely overrated? Does power even make you evil? Or sexy after all? Is the women's quota a way to get a foot in the door? And what awaits you on the other side of power? A warm welcome? Or another dilemma?
Razor-sharp dialog, rousing songs and multiple dance interludes without fear of loss and using all sustainable resources: the two gladiators of pop cabaret answer all open questions.

Michael Gaedt (Die kleine Tierschau) wrote after the two's premiere on Oct. 12'23 at Theaterhaus Stuttgart: " ...Popkabarett...for the first time this often used signet fits, because it's not the desire for something poppy in the foreground, but the whole show is a #1 pop song. Not afraid to let your pants down, not afraid of big emotions or pathos and elegantly explaining the world to you en passant. Sure, Pink and Taylor Swift can do that too, but so can Jutta Habicht and Sabine Urig! ..."

Venue of the event

The Capitol in Bremerhaven is a popular venue for political cabaret. Well-known names from the satire and cabaret scene regularly perform here. But the Capitol doesn't just see itself as a stage, it wants to offer more than just a show.

The "Arbeitnehmerkammer kulturell" has been organizing a varied theater programme in Bremerhaven since 1988 and thus makes an important contribution to a colourful and sustainable urban development. Since 1993, the Capitol has played an important role as a forum for artistic, political, intercultural and interpersonal exchange. In short: Capitol is a place for everyone! The diversity of people and lifestyles that come together here is also reflected in the program of events. Every year from January to May and from September to December, a wide variety of artists, satirists and comedians take to the stage to present their world view to the audience in a humorous or serious, but always intelligent and entertaining way. The "SATIRICA", a festival that has long enjoyed great popularity among satire fans, also takes place in November.
